Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Lauren Romano Jones, founder of Tranquility Yoga and a registered yoga teacher with over 15 years of personal practice.
I work with people who want yoga to feel approachable, realistic, and supportive—especially when life is busy, movement is limited, or energy levels vary from day to day.
My goal is to help you move in ways that feel good in your body, reduce stress, and build a practice you can actually maintain.
As a busy wife and mom of two young kids, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to carve out time for yourself and your health.
Between family responsibilities, work, and daily life, self-care often gets pushed to the bottom of the list. My experience shapes how I teach and why flexibility is central to my approach.

My Approach
Yoga for Every Body and Every Season of Life
Through my yoga teacher training and personal practice, I’ve come to believe that yoga is truly for everyone. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, yoga has the ability to adapt—honoring every body, every ability, and every stage of life.
I believe yoga has the power to heal, restore, and nurture through intentional breath and movement, creating a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. It can be a gentle, therapeutic practice, a meaningful form of self-care, or a supportive complement to an active lifestyle.
At its core, yoga offers balance, presence, and space to breathe—meeting you exactly as you are and supporting you in the way you need most.

Why I Do What I Do
Yoga has been a grounding presence in my own life for many years.
Over time, I noticed how many people (including myself) felt discouraged by traditional studio experiences—whether from rigid schedules, physical limitations, or simply feeling out of place.
Tranquility Yoga removes those barriers.
By offering private, small-group, and virtual sessions, I’m able to guide yoga in a way that feels personal, flexible, and realistic for each person.
Who This Approach Is For
This is especially well-suited for you if you:
-
Want a calm, non-intimidating experience
-
Prefer guidance that adapts to your body
-
Are managing stress, injuries, or physical limitations
-
Feel disconnected from traditional studio classes
-
Want yoga to support your life—not compete with it
You don’t need to be flexible or experienced.
You just need a willingness to start where you are.
